It’s all about you and your journey. Many autistic people, especially women, weren’t diagnosed with autism as children or at all. At Click Journals we know your struggles personally, and we want to help give you the tools and support you missed out on as a child to help you feel confident.
Hi, My name is Star, I’m 24, and I’m autistic. I was diagnosed at the age of 19, but before then, I had very little information about what autism was, and I had to learn entirely through self-driven research. I found it very difficult to find information about autism in adults outside of Tiktok. It was a very niche topic which made me feel very alienated despite my large community. These feelings of alienation lead me to start Click Journals to help erase the stereotypes about autism and provide local community support!

When Life Becomes Stressful, we Offer a Hand to Our Community.
Click Journals is a small start-up publication business run by graphic designer Star Smith. It was started to fill the void in autistic adult resources in London, Ontario and the surrounding area. Many adults, especially those assigned female at birth, aren’t diagnosed until they’re over the age of eighteen. They aren’t provided with many tools, support, and opportunities that those who were diagnosed as children were given. These folx are left stranded without help or information on how to cope with the stressful comorbidities that come with autism. Click Journals bridges the gap in support and provides autistic adults with the resources that aren’t currently provided by the medical community. Click Journals provides a journal series which helps with community connection, teaches medical self-advocacy, delivers coping techniques for stressful situations, and provides self-knowledge which can fuel self-affirmation.
